Hi! I'm a second-year masters student in violin performance at Wichita State University. I completed my undergraduate degree in violin performance at Wichita State also. I am a graduate assistant to Jacque Dillon (i.e. paper copying expert) 
. I currently have 10 private students and have assisted with youth orchestras in Wichita programs.
I grew up in Newton, which is about half an hour north of Wichita. My first orchestral experience happened in high school. I had a great conductor at Newton, Rachel Dirks, and she made orchestra the best part of my day at school. I also fell in love with orchestral literature at that time. Playing the violin and playing in orchestra have been very rewarding experiences for me, and I would love to see more kids in Kansas be able to experience these things too.
When I have spare time (which is hardly ever), I like to read, cook, sew, or run.
