Details

Our projects are 3 tanks of water one has to be filled with water and the second tank has a censor with laser. When we colored the water in the second tank. The laser will stop and the motor will open a hole to the other tank and the water will go from the second tank to the third one

Details:

Our project will be a game of Simon, but for guitar. The Arduino will be set up to have four buttons. Each button will have a specific note attached to it. Someone will use the Arduino play the notes in a sequence, the computer will receive the sequence, and the guitar player will be expected to play it.

Further Considerations:

I think our project is feasible because it is relatively simple. It uses a mic to receive noise, a guitar, arduino, some processing code, and a guitarist. The coding may take some help from outside sources, but overall it seems like an easy and fun project.

Our project is to create a game that will help train any singer’s ear to perfect pitch. This will include using a plug in microphone and speakers that will allow the computer to play a sound and and the participants to battle to to match pitches that the speaker would put out. The object of the game is to match 3 pitches exactly before the other competitor could. This would help singers have a better ear for pitches and help train them to be better singers.

Camp Ivanhoe’s Final Project Proposal: Mini World’s Fair – TR

Details

Since we kicked around a few simple ideas and we could not agree on which specific one to choose, we didn’t think one simple thing would be enough, and at the same time we did not want to do anything too complex given the short time we have to do this project, other projects for this class, and the fact that, believe it or not, we do take other classes. So, what we decided to do is put on a mini world’s fair, an exhibition of about three small wonders to play around with. So far we’ve settled on these three:

1. An improved version of Kori’s Volta Wheel. What those improvements will be, we are unsure of at this moment.

2. A zoetrope inspired by this

The way we are going to make it different is by maybe having a couple of replaceable designs and we probably won’t be using a broken XBOX disc drive

3. One or two light pads such as this one

To make this different we could try a couple of different designs, and maybe use processing to make a controller for the different colors and adding some dieas of our own to make it more dynamic.

That’s all we have so far. We are considering adding a couple of things, but for now that will do.

If this all seems a bit vague, it is because due to our hectic schedules we were unable to meet face to face to discuss this and all of our conversations were done via text or e-mail. We are still unsure about how we are going to go about all this, but we will get it done one way or another and it will be spectacular.

We plan on programming a drawing program that will command a robot to do the exact replica of the path drawn on the floor. The robot will be made from a erector set. Then we will use the arduino to program the erector set robot to trace the path on the ground.

Details

We are planing to expand on Dalton’s foam house by making a front lawn and putting Christmas lights that light up to music using arduino to control the light and music. We are also planing on having the lyrics scroll across the LCD screen.

For the final project our group will be attempting to fix a overheating issue on one of the Wichita States formula race cars. The project will consist of an Arduino, a fan, a coolant temp sensor, and a data logging shield. The Arduino will keep and eye on the coolant temp via the temp sensor and will adjust the speed of the fan in order to achieve the optimal collant temp.The data logging shield will then record all of the temps and fan speeds as the car is driven.

We intend to build a game structured around the idea of a foos ball table, depicting the game in a smaller form. Obstacles will block the ping pong balls from scoring, one side to the other. The overall framework and construction of the game should rely on foam and wood-based material, and flashy concepts of the game such as sensors and LED’s will correspond with the usage of the Arduino.

Although we have a pretty developed idea within our own understanding, as time progresses the overall picture will be a lot more clear. We may have to make some purchases, luckily we all have some strengths that will benefit the group altogether. Space InVaders!!!  Might be normal, might have versus. space invaders is pretty self explanatory. I think just about everyone knows what it is. Planning on having accelorametors to control the speed of the invaders. Arduino’s will help control the speeds and what not. Still figuring out what exactly we will be doing, and how to do it, will edit as things are figured out.
